Thank you for indulging me and “going past the first page”.  We normally get so many time-wasting, “just applying for jobs to fill a quota” type replies to employment ads and I really only want seriously interested people to respond.  If you understand this, then we have already established our first point of shared values.

I am Rick Grinsell and I am the person who You will hopefully displace. I’m 63, with 41 years in the Fire Protection Industry and 21 of those in Roma with my own business.  Having started Romafire from scratch, in a town where we knew no one, I am incredibly proud of what has been achieved over the years.  It couldn’t have been done without the support and dedication of some great Team members, and the time is now right to add another.

I believe in trust, loyalty, working diligently, fairness and doing good in the world.  Regardless of what has to be put into business Value and Mission Statements, my true vision for Romafire is for it to be the vehicle by which We, the Team, gain individual skills that collectively complement each other and allow the Team to happily, professionally, sustainably, ethically and legally achieve ongoing Wealth and Time Mastery, so that life is good for all of us and our families, and so that we can improve the lives of others who are less fortunate.  Here’s your chance for a second shared value.

What follows are four (4) lists detailing what the positional expectations are, and what I am personally looking for in my replacement.

PLEASE NOTE – I have not put a dollar figure in any of this.  If you are suitable and serious, we will discuss a suitable remuneration package.

Should you wish to proceed, having read and accepted that mentioned above, there is a document named “Prospective Team Member Goals” that I need you to complete.  It involves you answering a range of questions about you and your desires, and also watching several pertinent YouTube clips.  Please don’t rush it.  This opportunity will stay open until the 19th of November.  No response will be accepted without the return of this document, completed and signed.

Finally, I require a copy of a relevant, up to date CV and a well thought out cover letter explaining why you believe that you are the best fit for this opportunity.

Once completed, please forward all of your documentation to rick@romafire.com.au
