Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers (ABE)

Dry Chemical/Powder Extinguishers are safe to use on most common fire types: class A, B, & E.
Roma Fire can supply from 1.0kg to 9.0kg of dry chemical extinguishers. The Eversafe 1.0kg Dry Chemical extinguisher (mostly used in vehicles) comes with a vehicle bracket and is one of the few smaller extinguishers that are fitted with a hose. This makes sure when installed into a vehicle, it complies with the latest 2444 Australian Standard “Portable Fire Extinguishers – Selection and Location.”

Water Extinguishers

Water extinguishers work by cooling a fire to a temperature below the ignition temperature.
Water is inexpensive, readily available, and environmentally friendly. Water extinguishers are to be used on Class A fires (ordinary ‘carbonaceous’ fires). They must not be used on Class E (electrical) or Class B (flammable liquids).

Foam (AFFF) Extinguishers

Fluorine Free Foam extinguishers work very well on flammable liquid fires by providing a blanket of foam that excludes air from the burning surface. Foam extinguishers must not be used on Class E (electrical) fires.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Extinguishers

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) extinguishers work by displacing the air to produce an atmosphere deficient in oxygen.CO2 is the most preferred extinguish-ant to be used on electrical equipment because it leaves no residue that could affect equipment or has to be cleaned up.
